Template gallery
The template gallery gives you a curated set of ready-to-use starting points for common operations tasks, so you do not have to write one from scratch. Each template describes a task an agent can run, such as a cost report or a cleanup job, with a few settings you fill in for your own setup.
Browsing and importing a template
Section titled “Browsing and importing a template”From your workspace’s Templates page, choose Browse gallery to see what is available. Pick one to open it, fill in a short customize step (for example, which environment to run it against and any thresholds it needs), and import it. It is saved as a template in your workspace, ready to turn into a task whenever you want, just like a template you created yourself.
New templates are added to the gallery over time. There is nothing to install or update, they just show up the next time you browse.
Example: AWS cost and credits coverage report
Section titled “Example: AWS cost and credits coverage report”One of the built-in templates checks AWS spend against the credits you have applied, account by account, and flags any service whose spend is not covered by a credit. When you import it, you choose:
- Environment: which AWS environment to run the analysis against, typically your organization’s management account, so billing and credits across every linked account are visible.
- Assignee: which agent should run it.
- Lookback period (days): how many days of spend to analyze. Defaults to 30.
- Uncovered spend threshold (USD): the minimum uncovered spend per service worth flagging. Defaults to $10, to keep the report free of noise from trivial amounts.
Once imported, run it like any other template. It produces a report, per account, of total cost, credits applied, and any services whose spend is not covered.
